Photographic History comes to Portman Village
An exhibition of Elsbeth Juda (Jay) Photographs 1940-65


An exhibition of photographs which capture every facet of a re-emerging post War Britain went on show at 19 New Quebec Street, Portman Village for Elsbeth Juda (known as Jay), whose work for the Ambassador Magazine pushed the boundaries of fashion and advertising photography and who also captured some fo the era's most distinguished personalities of the time in
her iconic portraits.

Carolyn Moore, Asset Manager for Portman Village said: 'We are proud to be hosting the latest exhibition of Elsbeth Juda photographs. Portman Village (New Quebec Street and Seymour Place) is known for its quirky and independent retailers and restaurants, and is an area where people come to find something a little bit different from your average highstreet. We are eager to work with inspirational artists as part of our overall strategy to compliment our retail offer and to make our visitors' experience versatile.'
